Dada - The Anti-War Art Movement
Dada was many things, but it was essentially an anti-war movement in Europe and New York from 1915 to 1923. It was an artistic revolt and protest against traditional beliefs of a pro-war society, and also fought against sexism/racism to a lesser degree. The word "dada" was picked at random out of a dictionary, and is actually the French word for "hobbyhorse".

Caroline Folkenroth is a guest artist at the Lilith Gallery. Her work is more fantasical and has a folk art style, often using themes of fantasy in her work. She also works in clay and wax, but at present the Lilith Gallery shows none of her sculpture pieces.

Stefanie Lynn Evans at the Lilith Gallery
Her work could be described as gothic, art nouveau, surreal and sometimes twisted. Even a little depressing if it was not so cute and funny. She even did a cyborgian version of barbie, a homage to H. R. Giger. She cites John William Waterhouse, Salvador Dali, Michael Parkes, Clive Barker, and Tim Burton as her influences.
